 Introduction

ICADL2005 is the 8th in a well-established series of annual conferences on Asian Digital Libraries, and focuses on the creation, adoption, implementation and utilization of digital libraries. It provides an international forum for sharing experiences among researchers, educators, practitioners, and policy makers from a variety of disciplines such as computer science, library and information science, archival and museum studies, and knowledge management -- as well as many areas in the social sciences and humanities.

The theme of ICADL2005 is Implementing Strategies and Sharing Experiences.

 Award

The ICADL Steering Committee has selected the winners of The ICADL 2005 Best Paper Award.  The IEEE Technical Committee on Digital Libraries also announced the winners of the Best Student Paper Award.  Both awards were presented at the ICADL 2005 banquet.  See the Awards page for details.
